NETON is uniquely qualified to help organisations develop and execute a cloud strategy – combining private, public, hybrid, and multi-cloud based on a customer needs. With our core strength and deep understanding of cloud platforms, we are able to assess the customer’s environment and determine the best platform and cloud environment for each application
Public cloud providers and on-premise hardware vendors are naturally focused on their products rather than the entire cloud environment. Cloud migration requires a thorough assessment of application architectures, operational models and infrastructure integration.
NETON takes a customer-first approach by evaluating the existing environment and understanding what the customer wants to achieve by moving to the cloud. Our engineering team can assist in the migration of applications and data, while our managed services team can provide monitoring, management, and cost optimisation.
The difference is how much of the system the provider runs for you. SaaS is finished software you use through a subscription, IaaS is rented servers and storage you manage yourself, and PaaS is a managed platform for building and running your own applications. Many UAE businesses use a mix of all three.
It depends on each application, so the decision is rarely the same for everything you run. Public cloud suits workloads that need to scale, private cloud suits systems you must keep under tighter control, and hybrid combines the two. NETON assesses your environment and recommends a platform for each application.
Yes, if you choose a provider and region that offer it, because UAE hosting is not automatic. AWS and Microsoft Azure both operate UAE cloud regions, but a software vendor built on those platforms may host elsewhere. Ask for the hosting region of your data and backups in writing.
They can, so check before you move personal data. The federal Personal Data Protection Law limits transfers of personal data outside the UAE, with exceptions, sector rules can be stricter, and the DIFC and ADGM have their own data protection laws. Take legal advice if you work in a regulated sector or a financial free zone.
A cloud migration starts with an assessment, not with moving data. NETON reviews your application architecture, operating model and how your infrastructure connects, and establishes what you want to achieve by moving. The migration plan for applications and data follows from that.
Yes. NETON has a managed services team that provides monitoring, management and cost optimisation after the move. NETON is also a Microsoft CSP partner, so Microsoft cloud subscriptions can be supplied through the same provider.
