NETON provides a full range of structured cabling installation, fibre optic maintenance, network troubleshooting and fault callout services. Our cabling systems are installed, terminated, tested and commissioned to the relevant industry standards.
We recommend and supply structured cabling products from established manufacturers, chosen for the connection speeds and fault tolerance your network needs. A full consultancy and design service takes each project from the first drawings to a fully commissioned network.
NETON installs, tests and commissions single-mode and multimode fibre optic cabling, as satellite cabinet links or backbone links, and provides fibre testing and troubleshooting on existing installations.
A modern office runs much more than computers over its cabling. IP desk phones, Wi-Fi access points, IP cameras and door access readers usually take both data and power through a single network cable (Power over Ethernet), so we plan outlets and switch capacity for them from the start. If you are installing a new phone system at the same time, see business phone systems in Dubai and our telecom solutions. For cameras and access control, see security systems and IP CCTV in Dubai; for meeting rooms and displays, see audio and video.
Cabling ends in cabinets, and the cabinet is where most problems start if it is not planned. We install floor-standing and wall-mounted cabinets with patch panels, cable management and power distribution, and keep copper and fibre neatly separated so ports are easy to find. For larger sites we build complete server rooms, including power protection and cooling, as part of our IT infrastructure work.
For a deeper look at choosing between Cat 6, Cat 6A and fibre, read our guide to Cat 6 and fibre cabling in Dubai.
Cat 6a is a sensible starting point for most new offices because it leaves room for faster networks. Cat 7 and shielded FTP or STP cable suit sites with higher demands or more electrical interference. NETON installs these systems and can specify the right one from your connection speed and fault tolerance needs.
Single-mode fibre carries signals over longer distances, while multimode fibre suits shorter links, usually inside a building. A common pattern is multimode between floors and single-mode between buildings. NETON installs, tests and commissions both.
Use fibre for backbone links and for runs too long for copper or exposed to electrical interference. Copper normally still serves the desk, and fibre connects the cabinets that feed it. NETON installs fibre as satellite cabinet links and backbone links.
Yes. NETON provides network troubleshooting, fault callouts, fibre optic maintenance and fibre testing on existing installations. Share any drawings or cable records you have, because they make faults on an older installation easier to trace.
It means checking each installed link against the relevant standard before the network goes live. NETON installs, terminates, tests and commissions its cabling systems to the relevant industry standards. Ask any installer for the test results at handover, because they are your record of what was delivered.
Use armoured cable where a run could be damaged, such as outdoors, in warehouses or on industrial sites. The armour adds physical protection that standard cable lacks. NETON installs armoured cables for harsh environments as part of its structured cabling work.
