An x-bees partner in Dubai sets up Wildix's sales communication platform so calls, WhatsApp and chat reach one workspace, then connects it to your CRM. Before you buy, check which plan your team needs, whether your CRM edition qualifies, and how transcription and recording will work under UAE rules.

What x-bees is, and what a partner adds

x-bees is Wildix's sales communication platform. Wildix describes it on its product site as an AI platform that captures calls, messages and chats, generates summaries and next steps, and updates the CRM. Your CRM stays the system of record, and x-bees feeds it.

A partner turns that into a working system for your team. That means choosing plans, connecting your phone numbers and WhatsApp, linking the CRM, setting who can see what, and training your users. If you are also comparing partners for the wider phone system, our guide on how to choose a Wildix partner covers the general questions. This guide covers what is specific to x-bees.

The product demo will look good from any partner. The checks below are the ones that decide whether it works for your team.

Start with who needs what

Do not buy one plan for everyone. Wildix's x-bees admin guide describes three main user tiers, and each suits a different kind of user. Basic suits internal staff who do not deal with customers. Standard suits customer-facing users who need CRM integration. SuperBee adds Live Dashboard, Analytics, Revenue Intelligence and website widget configuration.

Make a list of your users by role before you ask for a proposal. Sales reps and support agents usually sit at one level, team leaders may need another, and back-office staff may not need x-bees at all. A partner should challenge this list with you, because plan choice sets both your cost and what each person can do.

Plan contents change, and Wildix's own documents are not always worded identically. Ask your partner to confirm in writing what each user gets for the features you depend on, particularly WhatsApp, SMS and transcription.

Check your CRM edition first

This is the check most likely to change your plans, and you can do it today.

Wildix's Salesforce integration guide requires x-bees Standard or higher, admin access to Salesforce, and a Salesforce subscription with API access. It says API access comes with the Enterprise, Unlimited, Developer and Performance editions, but not Professional or Essentials. If you run Professional, you need to resolve that with Salesforce before x-bees can deliver what the demo showed.

The HubSpot integration guide needs x-bees Standard or higher and admin access to HubSpot. If the same users also work in Collaboration 7, it needs a UC-Business subscription or higher as well.

If you use another CRM, ask directly what the integration does on an inbound call, what it logs, and where you can see that working. Do not accept "it integrates" as an answer. Ask for three specifics: does the customer record open when a call arrives, are calls and summaries logged against the right record, and what happens when two records share a phone number.

Voice in the UAE still runs through e& or du

x-bees does not change who supplies your phone numbers. TDRA's published FAQs class VoIP as a telecommunications service, and name Etisalat (now e&) and du as the telecommunications licensees. Third parties may provide VoIP only together with a licensee or with TDRA approval.

So your UAE numbers come from a SIP trunk with one of those carriers, connected to the Wildix system behind x-bees. du, for example, states that its business SIP trunk does not include the PBX or handsets. Your partner should plan this first, because carrier orders and number porting usually set the go-live date.

Ask whether the proposal includes a PBX, and how outbound caller ID will be set for each team. If you are already running Wildix, adding x-bees may be simpler. If you are not, the phone system is part of the project, and the scope should say so.

WhatsApp, SMS and website chat

If your customers already message you on WhatsApp, this may be your main reason to look at x-bees. Wildix's admin guide says x-bees sends SMS, MMS and WhatsApp messages through its CLASSOUND service, and lists WhatsApp on the Standard and SuperBee plans.

Agree these points before go-live:

  • Which number you will use. Decide which business number is your WhatsApp identity, and check how it is used today.
  • Who owns the conversation. Decide whether messages go to a shared team or to the account manager who knows the customer.
  • How customers opt in. Marketing messages need clear consent, and your team needs to know what it may send.
  • What happens out of hours. An unanswered WhatsApp message looks worse than a missed call, so set an owner.

Our guide to WhatsApp and SMS integration covers the wider options. Website chat is a separate decision. Wildix's product site describes a Wilma Sales Agent that qualifies website visitors, books meetings and creates leads. If you want this, ask who writes its knowledge, who reviews its answers, and how a person takes over.

Transcription and AI: the settings that matter

The AI features depend on setup that is easy to miss. According to Wildix's transcription guide:

  • Real-time transcription depends on the dialplan. It needs the Transcribe only or Record + Transcribe option configured.
  • The codec matters. Transcription cannot start on a call answered with the Opus codec, so Wildix recommends alaw or ulaw.
  • Storage has a retention setting. Transcripts sit in Company Data Storage, and an administrator sets how long they stay.
  • Access is controlled by permissions. You decide which groups can see recordings and transcription summaries.

The same applies to Wilma, Wildix's AI assistant. It needs transcription enabled on a call to use that call's context. So if a partner promises summaries and coaching, ask them to show you the settings that make it work on your system, and test it on real calls in Arabic, English and any other language your team uses. Do not assume accuracy in a mixed-language call until you have heard it.

UAE rules on calls and recordings

If your team makes promotional calls, x-bees sits inside your compliance process. Our DNCR guide explains what UAE telemarketing rules require, including screening numbers, using a registered caller ID, and telling people when a call is recorded. A recording and transcription tool does not meet those rules alone. It only records what your process did.

Ask your partner how the system would support your process, then take legal advice on your own obligations. Decide who may read transcripts, how long you keep them, and how you handle a customer who asks about their data. Sales teams often want everything kept forever, while your compliance lead will not, so settle this before go-live. The retention setting is simple, and the policy behind it is the real work.

Questions to ask an x-bees partner

Put these to every partner on your shortlist:

  1. Which plan do you recommend for each role, and why?
  2. Does my CRM edition qualify, and can I see that integration working?
  3. Is a PBX and carrier trunk in scope, or do I need them separately?
  4. How will my WhatsApp number be connected, and who handles the setup?
  5. What must be configured for transcription and summaries to work on my calls?
  6. Who can see recordings and transcripts, and how long will they be kept?
  7. What training does each role get, and who supports us after go-live?

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Wildix and x-bees?

Wildix UC&C is the phone and collaboration system. x-bees is Wildix's platform for customer-facing teams, built around conversations, CRM records and AI summaries. Many businesses run both, with x-bees for sales and support and Wildix UC&C for other staff.

Does x-bees work with WhatsApp in the UAE?

x-bees supports WhatsApp conversations through Wildix's CLASSOUND service, and Wildix's admin guide lists WhatsApp on the Standard and SuperBee plans. Confirm the plan and the setup with your partner, and agree how customer consent and business numbers will be handled before go-live.

Which CRMs does x-bees integrate with?

Wildix documents integrations with Salesforce and HubSpot. Both need x-bees Standard or higher. Salesforce also needs an edition with API access, and Wildix's guide says Professional and Essentials do not include it, so check your licence first.

Can x-bees use my existing UAE phone numbers?

Your UAE numbers come from e& or du, whichever platform sits behind them. A partner connects the Wildix system to your carrier trunk, then moves or maps your numbers. Keep the carrier account in your company's name, and plan any number porting early.

Is NETON an x-bees partner?

Yes. NETON Technologies LLC is a certified Wildix Gold Partner based in Business Bay, Dubai, listed on Wildix's Middle East partner directory. We supply, deploy and support x-bees for sales and support teams across the UAE.
